As stated on my about page, I work for The Standard Newspaper. A unique local news media company which does more than just a print newspaper. I work as the Multimedia Producer, and one of the many various things I do in my job is maintain our YouTube channel. Sometimes that means writing and creating original videos. And I would like to share with you all a video that I am especially excited about! It's the start of our new local history series There's No Time Like the Past. This first episode is all about the name of our local community “Scugog”. If you've never been here, chances are you might not even know how to pronounce “Scugog” until you see the video!
So enough chit chat about the video, let's watch it. Please note: you'll have to provide your own popcorn or snacks, or meet me at the concession stand where I'll be loading up my popcorn with dill pickle powder). Be sure to let me know what you think of the video in the comments below! :D

I'm a lover of Jesus, and he has called me to love and obey Him. One of the ways He has me do that, is by glorifying Him through media.
