Speaking of comics, I've been (as I previously mentioned) toying with the idea of a graphic novel or comic book, in the near-ish future. I have a few ideas, some in very different directions, but I am not sure what I will do yet. My thought was, I might do a paragraph summary of each idea, and draw a mock "cover" for each story, then put them up here on the blog, for you to vote on which story you would like to see a full graphic novel of! :)
I'm not committing to anything definite yet, but that's my thought.
And here's a question for you, that I have been posing to family and friends: what is it that you think comics have as a creative advantage over other story telling mediums? Put another way, what is it you like about comics, that other stories just don't have? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! :)
"Do you have any current pictures you drew you wanna 'showcase'?" - ::SWISH:: 2016
Here was a 2014 remake of Natalie Maldoskyi (the purple haired girl in VILLEWOOD).
For those who are curious about the process, this was hand drawn in pencil, scanned in onto the computer, and then manually traced using vector lines in Inkscape. It's a little choppy though, since I was new to drawing in a vector style in Inkscape at the time.
