Tasks that are a priority demand to be done with excellence. Save your excellence for the priorities. If you give 100% to the non-priorities, you won't be able to do your priority tasks with excellence. As leaders we often have more priority tasks than our time or ability allows us to do with excellence. If something is a priority and you can't do it with excellence, it needs to be delegated someone who can.
Failure to delegate leads to subpar results and things that just don't get done. If you want your whole plan to be done with excellence, delegation is not an option, it's a requirement.
