If you have you been keeping up with international news lately, you have likely heard about the situation in Syria. What's more you likely know that many countries, including Canada, are taking in refugees from Syria. For me personally, I have been somewhat mixed on how I feel about this issue. I have heard a lot of streams of thought on it. And while our neighbours in the USA had the luxury of debating whether or not to take 10,000 – 25,000 refugees, or none at all, our newly elected Liberal government had already promised to bring in 25,000 refugees before the end of last year (2015). 10,000 are being brought to my home province, which is an unusual choice considering it's already the most populated province in the country.

I like old movies. A lot. In fact there are few “modern” movies I have fully enjoyed. So I thought it would be fun to give you a list of my must see movie picks: old* movies edition. At a future date, Lord willing, I will make a new movies edition (there are a handful of newer movies I've enjoyed). While most old movies are the picture of wholesomeness**, I thought it would be fair to add a "note" of any concerning content items at the end of each summary. These are very clean movies and I am doubtful you will find many (or any) movies (even expressly Christian ones) this clean. Enjoy! Let me know if you watch any of the movies and what you think!
When the GreenStreams Studio audio drama Shadows and Daylight initially came out, I got a very encouraging review from an industry professional. At the time I had said that the review “made my day.” I started thinking though, you know who made my day? God!

I'm a lover of Jesus, and he has called me to love and obey Him. One of the ways He has me do that, is by glorifying Him through media.
